The concept of this collection is based on the Pascalian theme: "Man is but a reed, the most feeble thing in nature, but thi is a thinking reed"(Blaise Pascal)
The human fragility condition is like a reed because the human is mortal. The human nature is able to achieve greatness because he has reason and has the ability to steel himself in the midst of so many hostile circumstances.
For Blais Pascal, Man is a creature suspended between everything and nothing, but in this concept NOTHING is compared to Infinity and EVERYTHING is compared to nothingness. It's tragic condition results from his inability to determine the exact place that he occupies in the universe, to choose between two contradictory trends.
According to Pascal's thoughts, the man may be considered an "ATOPIC" being (A=without and TOPOS=place) that doesn't know on which step to place himself.
The collection contains necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and brooches, all of them crafted from a mixture of gold, silver and bronze. All the artworks are either unique pieces or limited series.
